The security and privacy of patient data is one of our primary concerns and we have taken every precaution to protect it.

Technical Note:

PC Users
Our online form uses Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or greater plug-in to conveniently submit the form from home or work. Please download the free plug-in from Adobe's web site if it is not already installed on your system. It is important that you have at least version 5 of the plug-in to successfully use our online form.

Mac Users

Case Study 12 Mini-Transitional Implants

With Mini-Transitional Implants, our patients can have teeth immediately following surgery. They don't have to endure the embarrassment faced by not having teeth or removable temporary restorations during the lengthy osseointegration period. These mini-transitional implants are placed at the same time as the permanent implants and are able to be used immediately (unlike the permanent implants-which require a 3+ month healing period).

They are a smaller diameter (1.8-2.8mm) than permanent implants and are easily removed at the end of the three month healing period. These can be loaded the day of surgery with either a fixed or removable denture. Also, more recently, these implants have been advocated as a lower cost alternative to traditional dental implants (i.e. overdentures only) to be used as permanent implants. For this, osseointegration has to take place.
